TWO
VARIATIONS
Online and offline systems.
Almost every company has them: Critical areas. Whether they’re server rooms, laboratories, or development departments. Not all employees are granted access to these areas.
In systems with online controlling of saved authorizations for door systems, such as LEGIC or MIFARE, credentials like personnel numbers, names, and ID badges are checked against a central server. If the employee is successfully and positively authenticated, access is granted to the sensitive area. In addition, logs can be used to track who entered or left which area, and when. This type of check is especially important in highly sensitive areas, since the company needs to make sure the same access authorization isn’t used at multiple locations simultaneously. Especially companies certified under DIN ISO need to be able to prove who was located in which sensitive areas and at what time.

AREAS OF APPLICATION
LABORATORIES
In critical areas like hospitals or research departments, authorization is required on doors since only certain employees are granted access.
DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENTS
Security is one of the highest priorities in your development department, where new products and prototypes are born. Access to these sensitive areas isn’t just open to everyone.
IT EQUIPMENT
Large computing centers use high security standards on a daily basis, since data entrusted to the company by customers demands a high level of protection. Control access using locking systems that support key cards or smart cards with NFC. Your authorization management will run in the background, always providing you with reliable information on who entered and left which areas, and when.
